My name is Nicky Costi. I'm a nineteen year old aspiring illustrator and film maker who is currently in second year at the National Art School completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a photography major.

My earlier art was made under the conditions of depression and was used as therapy for my self harm, these days I'm making art to inspire and entertain youth and bring back the old sentimental qualities and nostalgia of art, books, tv shows and movies we all loved as children before and during the 1990's.

People such as Tim Burton, Alex Pardee, Brett Helquist, Hayao Miyazaki, May Gibbs, Beatrix Potter, Shirley Barber, Quentin Blake, Dr Seuss, and Brian Dettmer inspire my work and ambitions greatly.
